The new 2013 Toyota Auris is the compact and the hottest car to come out for the new season and it’s comparable to the VW Golf class, the Honda Civic, the Kia Cee, the Mazda3 and the Kizashi go. The 2013 Toyota Auris beats the competition is all categories however as it combines the best in Japanese car building expertise with quality you have grown to expect and love from those cars and trucks.
First you have the exterior and interior of the vehicle. The interior designs are very calming, not stuffy at all. With plenty of room for something so small, especially in a Japanese car. The luggage compartment can fit up to a whooping 1335 liters with the seats laying down. All controls and vehicle operations are very conveniently placed for easy access while driving or while parked. The shifter is positioned in such a way as to not impede the driver, which is a big step up from earlier models. The sleek design of the exterior is much making the now well known designs of Toyota.
The engine itself is a very strong four cylinder 2.2 liter with a big 130 hp, and 400 Nm of torque. It has an all new suspension system to give the driver a unparallelled smooth ride. The engine comes fitted with all the latest government mandated filters to ensure that the car is much better for the environment than previous models. This is keeping with Toyota’s current “Green car” theme.
The Auris also comes with a completely redesigned six speed transmission, which also helps to cut emissions and save fuel by reducing the power load. It comes standard with all the modern features you would come to expect from a Toyota such as Satellite radio, GPS built into the console and On Star crash support systems. Plus all your basics like power windows and steering, cruise control and a rear view camera. It also comes with a state of the art crumpling chassis, to help absorb crash impact and protect the driver, a seven point airbag system and even comes with built in child seat locks to help protect your children.
The 2013 Toyota Auris does not have an expected release date yet, but is set to be showcased at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in Paris, France where the release date and pricing for the new Auris will be released to the public.
